There’s an array of unique umbrellas floating around the design industry, but none more entertaining than this concept. The rain drum is a unique umbrella that has several different areas that are matched with a specific drum-like sound output.
This means that whenever it rains, depending on where the rain lands on the umbrella, a unique sound will be played. The umbrella has all sorts of sections on it that makes it look a bit like a toy drum set. Each one of those parts will make a different sound when the raindrops hit. It has a snare, tom-tom and bass drum. Plus a crash symbol and a hi-hat symbol. Of course this is only a pretty little concept design as of now.
