Part of the list of World Heritage since 1983. Rises to 2.430 meters above sea level in the framework of spectacular mountain scenery. It was built during the Inca Empire and is one of the most fabulous architectural constructions of the Inca culture. The sanctuary covers 35 000 hectares, which are sheltered by the surrounding tropical forest.
